Opposites Attract!
Kokie Main Attraction
Sometimes deciding on a color can take a minute but Kokie Main Attraction was a quick and easy decision. It's a pretty medium pink cream from the Rapidgel line with a smooth formula and creamy application, that was almost a one coater. I applied two thin coats followed by top coat. I really do love how glossy these polishes dry even though I add top coat every time to speed up the drying time and to protect my mani from everyday wear. Main Attraction is one of those colors that works on just about any skin tone. There are a tonne of different shades of pink to choose from on the market and most of us own at least a few (no I have not counted how many pinks I have) I often get asked about what pink polishes are really good.to get because not all formulas are created equally. It was one of the reasons why I chose to try out Main Attraction because I was asked that question again just last week. I have had really good experiences with the Kokie Rapidgel line of polishes and wanted to see if the same held true for this bottle. I was not disappointed and will be recommending this one for sure.
Of course I stamped my nails again using Sally Hansen Cherry Fast ( I did say I would be using it for stamping) and was just about to apply a glossy top coat but at the last minute decided to go matte instead. I loved the way it turned out and I wondered why I have not reached for my matte top coat in a while. I showed one of my co workers this morning and she was a little confused... she prefers glossy over the matte polishes too and thought that I forgot to add top coat. I told her I made it matte on purpose but the pink on it's own is very glossy. She looked at me like I was a little crazy, she did not prefer this mani matte but neither did I once upon a time, before falling down the nail polish rabbit hole. Now I even wear textured polishes occasionally and I like it!. Who would have thought that it would go this far? I am loving my matte mani!
