My Private Jet, Is A Perfect Pick Me Up!

Happy Friday! I am so happy this week is over because I am looking forward to some serious quality time with my man and little people this weekend. I began the week with pink nails so why not end it the same way. I chose Kokie My Private Jet because I loved the way it shimmered in the bottle. As soon as I applied the first coat though I realized this was meant to be a topper. It's very sheer but the formula is really easy to work with and applies almost like a jelly polish. I could have stopped and applied a base color and started again but I was determined to see if I could build it up to the gorgeous color in the bottle. It took four coats (you might get away with three if you put it on thicker) but I regret nothing. Mr. Nailvanna laughed at me and accused me of being in need of a glitter fix... always! I really want to try this as a topper as well but I just could not bring myself to take it off. My Private Jet is so sheer that it allows the shimmer of the layers below to show through the layers above giving it amazing depth, and making it seem like my nails were glowing from within. It was worth every single layer! I added a layer of top coat making it five layers of polish on my nails. Once my polish was all dry it was not as thick as I thought it was going to be. I did allow for a few minutes of drying time between the coats so that definitely helped reduce how long it took my nails to cure. You might have figured out by now that I really liked this one. This glowing hot pink shimmer is a perfect pick me up. While I recognize that not everyone is going to have as much patience as I do to apply as many layers as I did, you can start by applying it over a creme base and it will still give you some of the shimmer and a hint of the pink. You should definitely buy this!
