While I was shopping for Christmas gifts in December, I came across a Pure Ice gift set. I love gifts so I bough it for myself! Yes I am perfectly aware of how cheesy that is but any excuse will do sometimes. I figured it was time to play with some of the colors and It's All A Bluer was the one that stood out the most today so that is where I began. A medium blue-purple, or burple if you would like to save on words that is quite easy on the eyes. It looks a bit more purple in the bottle but once it was on my nails, I felt it was a bit more blue than I realized. It's one of those pretty spring colors that is fun to wear. There is a very soft shimmer in the bottle as well that I only noticed once it was in my hand and I really was not expecting it to be visible on the nail, but to my surprise it does translate. I love it when that happens. It's subtle but it is there. The formula was easy to work with and two coats gave me complete opacity. I added my top coat and for a minute, debated not stamping it.

One minute later... I wanted the bling. I mean who doesn't love a little pick me up, so I decided to add a silver pattern. This color looks awesome with silver and even Mr. Nailvanna had to comment on how nice it looks. I could not agree with him more! Not too flashy but very far from boring. As far as I know Pure Ice is an exclusive to Walmart brand and is really inexpensive. Just about all the colors that were in the gift set were also available to purchase individually so if you did not scoop it up at Christmas time you did not miss out on them. The price point makes it easy to pick up several at a time so If you can't decide on which color you like best just get them all. Make sure you grab It's All A Bluer because it's worth it!
