Dahlia, If You Like The Flower, You Will Love This Polish!
Kokie Dahlia
TGIF! I'm always happy by the time Friday comes around but this week particular because it's been one of those weeks. Have you ever have one of those days where you are all thumbs? I seemed to have a week full of those days. It's not been a bad week exactly, just a clumsy one. I have managed to get through it though without any lasting marks! I wore Kokie Dahlia from the Rapidgel line today. It's one of those great transitional colors that makes it so easy to reach for. A beautiful burgundy that is always classy. Two coats gave me perfect coverage and the formula just glides on. It dries glossy all on it's own but the Rapidgel top coat will keep it looking flawless longer. I really am impressed with how incredibly glossy the Rapidgel polishes are and love that they are not gel so they apply and remove just like a normal nail polish – no UV light or soaking required.
I stamped a silver design over it and it turned nicely, if you ignore my index finger... I debated about not posting this out of sheer frustration, but in the end I decided to just suck it up. There was not a thing wrong with my polish, stamper or the top coat. It was all just user error. And only my index finger on one hand... I had just finished applying top coat to my finished manicure when I reached out for something and dinged my nail.... took off about half my polish... no fixing that puppy so I cleaned off my nail and redid the whole thing just to do the same thing again! I am not giving up I figured the third time is a charm but I managed to get lotion on my stamper and smudged the stamping. If you squint it's not so bad right? I could laugh or I could cry, I might have done a little of both. It was late so I decided I had better call it quits before I managed to break a nail. I was just glad Dahlia is so easy to work with because it made reapplying it quick and easy. I hope you guys have a great weekend. I am going to take some downtime to recharge and next week it's a fresh start. See you all Monday!
