Sugar Pie
True Fiction Sugar Pie
Last week I came across True Fiction and I liked True Blue so much that I wanted to try another polish by them so I chose Sugar Pie. A clean and crisp white cream polish that I had hoped would make a nice base for nail art, but would be nice enough to wear on its own. I have tried a lot of white nail polishes and I am still hoping to find the perfect one. Sugar Pie has good formula with a smooth consistency though the first layer is somewhat patchy. The second coat evened everything out without a hint of streaking. As white polishes go this one is not bad at all. There was no chalky feel to the polish nor did it have any lumps in the formula.
As I mentioned I was really happy with True Blue last week and I was dying to see how it would do as a stamping polish. I chose a rose image thinking that it might turn out a bit like the blue rose tattoo porcelain. It didn't turn out with perfectly crisp lines but that is part of what I find so appealing about it. I thought about adding a bit of glitter to glam it up but I found I just did not want to alter this mani, and just stuck to top coat. I really do love the way this mani turned out. I found my bottles of True Fiction at Lovell Drugs but I have also found them online. Their headquarter is in Vancouver, Canada and the polishes are five free and fabulous. They also contain NO animal-derived ingredients and are not tested on animals.
