Happy New Year my friends! I hope the holidays treated you well. I had a really nice break and spent most of my time on some much needed down time with the family. But all good things must come to an end (worst thing ever if you ask me) and it's back to the real world of 9-5. I decided to begin 2017 with Kokie Protege. A dark gun metal grey heavily loaded with silver and purple shimmer. I applied two easy coats. The formula has a great consistency making it very nice to work with. I had thought that Protege may show some brush marks but there was not one in sight. I did say it was a good foumula for a reason. I loved the depth of this shimmer, especially when I caught a flash of purple.
I added a little silver stamping to dress it up for New Years and added a layer of top coat to seal it in. Happy New year indeed! I was very happy with my manicure. If Santa was not generous enough to bring you any Kokie polishes I say you go buy yourself some. They are very reasonably priced and perform better than a lot of my higher priced polishes. Take a look through my reviews here and you will see why I fell in love with this brand and continue to keep wearing it.
