Shaken Not Stirred!
Kokie Grey Area
Someone was talking about martinis the other day and I thought that a Friday night out would be a great way to start the weekend. We are planing to get the Christmas decorating all done in those two short days so a little spirits to put us in the spirit, seemed like a good idea. It took me a minute to decide on Kokie Grey Area because I wanted festive nails but dirty martini style. The formula was fabulous and I loved this olive grey from the moment it touched my nails. Two coats provided complete coverage and I added top coat. I love when the elephant on the cap and the bottle line up perfectly for my picture. It's a little thing but the cute packaging is appreciated.
I picked a Christmas sweater pattern to stamp over Grey Area. I probably should have given my choice of stamping polishes a bit more thought because I could have done better. It looked like a burgundy shimmer in the bottle but on my nails there is not trace of either. Good thing ugly Christmas sweaters are a thing right now... Once I had a moment with my new manicure I did like the way it turned out, though I still don't understand why anyone would want to wear an ugly sweater.... I can't get my head around that at all. My feelings on Grey Area were clear though, as I found myself looking over these pictures and I found that I really like it plain the most. Sometimes you come across a great cream polish that really doesn't need to be messed with. I hope you all have a great weekend and I'll see you all Monday!
