A England Shall Be My Queen

A England Shall Be My Queen from the new Tennyson's Romance Collection is a one coat wonder. Gorgeous ruby red holographic love for your nails. The formula makes painting your nails as fast as it can possibly get. It is very pigmented! I applied only one coat and followed it up with a thin layer of top coat. It dries very fast so if you are short on time but are not willing to skip out on pretty nails it's a fabulous one to reach for. I promise you won't be disappointed!

One of my friends made a comment the other day that she is really missing polished nails, but she broke and split just about all of her nails in a recent move. She said she was going to grow them out again before she even considered painting them and for the time being is going to keep them bare. Friends don't let friends run around naked! Well... oh wait this is not that kind of site. Think of your nails like a cell phone screen...most people have a screen protector to shield it from every day wear. Your nails are similar. By applying a layer of polish you are essentially putting on a layer of protection against the elements. Every time you put your hands in water the layers of keratin that make up your nails expand and contract as the moisture is absorbed. This isn't great when you are trying to grown them out, even if you are just trying to achieve healthy short nails. A layer of polish will help to protect you against your basic hazards like washing your hands and every day wear. I usually recommend a good base coat at a minimum, but a bit of color will certainly improve the look of your nails. It's not the answer to world peace I know but there is something to be said about feeling good. You can see your hands all day so you might as well paint a color on your nails that will make you happy! Shall Be My Queen certainly added a little bounce to my step. You should try it too.
