China Glaze But Of Corpse

Nailvanna, nail polish reviews, lacquer, Cina Glaze But Of Corpse

China Glaze But Of Corpse is Halloween in a bottle! Mossy swamp green matte polish with little black bits of micro glitter. This one dries very fast so there's not much room for error when painting your nails. The formula is a touch on the thicker side but it's not difficult to work with. I applied two coats for opacity. If you are not in the mood for the typical orange and blacks for Halloween this is definitely a viable option. It is textured but only somewhat. It is not at all scratchy.

The biggest complaint I have heard about But Of Corpse is that it chips quite easily. I hear you and feel your pain. Unfortunately I have never met a matte polish that lasts. I do not understand the chemistry behind it but that does not change the fact that when you wear a matte polish you should be prepared that you will most likely need to change/fix your polish more frequently or live with chipped polish. I decided to add a layer of glossy topcoat to extend the wear time. It changes the look of the polish quite a bit but I prefer the glossier version. The green is richer an the black particles stand out more. It's unique and fun and everything Halloween should be. You don't need to add nail art or glitter it's perfect just as it is. It's a Halloween staple that I'm happy to share with you.
