Wake Up!
China Glaze Jagged Little Teal
China Glaze Jagged Little Teal is squeaky new from the Rebel collection released for fall 2016. The collection seems to have been inspired by the 90's and I am really liking what I have seen so far. I was sure that I was going to try something with a glitter of some kind first from this collection but when this one caught my eyes it was a done deal. Vamp deep teal that is easy on the eyes and would make a beautiful base for glitter and nail art alike. The formula is buttery smooth and just the right consistency, which is all I really want. I had one hand in my pocket when I took the photo above. This polish was not quite a one coater but I used pretty thin layers so I needed two coats for coverage. Thin coats dry quicker and are less likely to chip so I usually prefer to take that route if the formula allows for it. Every time I come across a polish I love this much I tend to fall head over feet and I want to pull out all my glitter and see how great they look together. The combinations are just about endless. It's Ironic that unlike its name, Jagged Little Teal did not give me one bit of trouble with the application. I will recommend exercising a little caution during application because You oughta know, this baby will turn your cuticles teal if you let it. I have Alanis Morissette stuck in my head now thanks to China Glaze. I am so glad they included a reference to her in this collection, I spent a good chunk of time listening to her Jagged Little Pill album in the 90's. Since I have had a peek at some of the other colors from Rebel I am very excited to try a few more. The 90's were a pretty good inspiration it seems! If you don't like this color I guess you could be forgiven, but I think it's perfect!
