Sublime!
Sally Hansen Soak At Sunset
Soak At Sunset is from the new line of Color Therapy polishes by Sally Hansen. They say that the patented argan oil formula fuses intensive nourishment and instant moisture for healthy looking nails. The instructions for application are to apply to bare nails no base coat required. I'm assuming that this allows the oils that the polish is infused with to be absorbed by your nail plate. Color Therapy top coat is recommended but not required. Once everything is nice and dry apply Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil for nails and cuticles that instantly look healthier, restored, and rejuvenated. Does it actually work? Time will tell but I can tell you with certainty that you can not go wrong with a bit more moisturizing. Since I am constantly applying moisturizer and cuticle oil my nails and cuticles are in pretty good shape. When it comes to a moisturizing product it would take something pretty drastic for me to notice a difference. The color was what grabbed my attention with this polish so let's start there. MY first thought was that it reminded me of a retro lipstick color. I figured it would either be really pretty or really ugly on my nails and I just had to find out which one it was going to be. My last dabble with oil infused nail polish taught me that there is a chance they may be a bit scented. I did notice a faint scent while applying Soak At Sunset but it was very minimal and it was all but gone in minutes. The formula was beautiful and smooth requiring two coats for opacity. I chose to apply my regular top coat and I found it worked perfectly. If you are looking to get the best moisturizing effect you may want to opt for the Color Therapy product that is designed to go with this line. It did not take me long to fall in love with this color. It's a peachy coral with a gold shimmer that has a retro feminine vibe. It's much prettier on than it looks in the bottle! Most people who noticed my mani were unsure what color to call it but I received many compliments.
