KB Shimmer Don't Play Koi
KB Shimmer Don't Play Koi is the quieter twin of the two crelly polishes from the Summer 2016 collection. I'll be honest, I tried Neon Me first because I thought I would enjoy the colors in Don't Play Koi more but I seem to have found my summer vibe because I'm just loving the neon nails including Neon Me. Don't Play Koi is an absolutely lovely crelly formula as well and it fits very nicely into the collection. I'm glad I have finally made my way to it. A muted white with accents of coral, aqua and grey hex glitters. It's very easy to see where the inspiration for this polish came from and it certainly does show the softer side of summer as it's maker intended. The formula is such a great consistency and it makes painting my nails effortless. It's a touch on the sheer side but three coats had it opaque and top coat added gloss. The glitter is a bit sparse but it feels like that is how it was meant to be. I did find myself having to fish for the bigger pieces....Fish.... Koi.... Punny. I might have spent a little too much time in the sun today. I am loving this summer collection and as much fun as the bright colors are it is great to be able to reach for something a little more romantic like Don't Play Koi.
