Ooh Baby!
ILNP Sand Baby
I have tried most of the ILNP 2016 Spring Jellies and loved every one of them so far. Over the last couple of days wearing bright in your face colors I really wanted something a bit more neutral. Sand Baby fit my criteria of neutral and pretty quite effortlessly. It's described by it's creator as a subtle and sophisticated peach beige jelly that is extremely versatile, super holographic and builds beautifully. She wasn't lying. The formula is once again absolutely perfect and leaves you wanting for nothing. As described it is very sheer, probably the sheerest one of the bunch that I have tried. My first coat was a bit surprising for that reason, had I been using an unknown brand I might have been a little bit worried about how it would turn out in the end. I decided I was happy with the look of the polish and the way the opacity had built up after the third coat and I added my top coat. My mani was still somewhat sheer and a visible nail line was still peeking though the jelly leaving it feeling quite delicate and feminine. Sand Baby is filled with scattered holographic micro-flakes that twinkle and glitter in just about any light and that is quite satisfying ladies. No matter what you need whether it's a work appropriate polish or like me you want something a little more subtle you can't make a wrong choice with this one.
