Kokie Atlantis At Last
Atlantis At Last is a cobalt blue dream. The creme formula is fantastic and just glides onto your nails. Well pigmented, two coats will have it completely opaque. I applied a layer of top coat for the picture above. It does not matter what season it is, a vibrant cobalt manicure will always look good.
I knew from the moment I pulled out Atlantis At Last that I wanted to stamp a pattern in white over it. I imagined a much crisper image transfer but unfortunately it did not quite turn out that way. I am still happy with the way my manicure turned out, and just love the way that blue glows.
I realized as I was lying in bed, about to fall asleep that I was so eager to try out this polish I forgot to double up on my base coat. I'm pretty sure I said something like oh snap (maybe not the PG version) out loud because Mr. Nailvanna mumbled something back to me in his sleep. I was not about to get out of bed to take off my nail polish and start over. When it was time to take off my manicure I was a little bit nervous, would I have blue stained nails? How bad would it be? I jumped to all sorts of conclusions the way only a woman who has had severely blue stained nails in the past can. In the end it was very anticlimactic. My acetone solution dissolved my polish quickly and revealed perfectly normal nails without a hint of blue. One layer of base coat was enough to keep my nails safe from any pigment staining. Once again I am really happy with a Kokie polish. If you have not tried them yet you really should.
